The Midwest Supermodified Association (MSA) Reorganizes and announces their 2010 Schedule.
Recently the Midwest Supermodified Association Board of Directors met to reset the course for the MSA for the 2010 Season and beyond. When the MSA started a Board of Directors made up mostly8 of owners and drivers had governed them. Effective immediately the MSA Board of Directors will be dissolved. Supermodified Driver/Owner Randy Burch and his wife, Rhonda are the people in charge of the Midwest Supermodified Association and will be governing with the help and support of former President and Sandusky Speedway operator, Kevin Jaycox from this point forward. There will be an MSA Advisory Board and there are plans to break back the MSA Steak Fry and a number of other events with the intention of having at least a $5,000 point fund for this first season under the new management. The MSA Superchix support group of wives, family and girlfriends will continue the support of the organization through their own fund raising efforts which include the operation of the MSA souvenir trailer and various other fund raising efforts through the year.
While these changes offer a different view of management, nothing has really changed for the fans. In the grandstands there will be the same intense support of the racing and close competition that the MSA provides. The 2010 MSA Schedule is listed below and has twelve (12) races scheduled for the 2010 season. There are reportedly three or four new supermodified racers under construction that will be joking the MSA ranks for the upcoming season. Every attempt will be made to avoid the MSA shows conflicting with the ISMA schedule for 2010. These decisions were made to help keep the MSA moving in a positive direction and the help with the survival of our division as a whole during these tough economic times.

We wish our friends Randy, Rhonda and Kevin all the best as they enter into this exciting new venture. All are experienced racers and all have worked hard under the old Board arrangement to promote supermodified racing and the MSA.
